Kickstarter: Ikea Expedit hack with record covers
Some thing a little different today. This is a kickstarter project from Shane. I had no idea what a kickstarter project was until now. In a nutshell, it's a website for people to birth an idea and find financial backers for their project. Shane's project is on the Expedit with aluminum door frames that allow record covers to be slotted in. Nice. Well, his email landed in my spam box some time ago and would have been lost if my itchy fingers did not happen to check it. (Yes, I do occasionally as some hacks/emails do land there). There are 6 days lefts for Shane to get his backers. I do not know Shane personally nor am I involved with this project in anyway. Just wanted to pass this along and give you the opportunity to support it, if you like the project. ~ Jules
Here's the email from Shane:
My name is Shane Keaney, I've got an Ikea hack kickstarter project you guys might dig. It's a simple frame that fits the Expedit shelves from Ikea, and allows for a Record cover to slide in, those shelves are used by a lot of people, like myself, to store records.
Thank you for your time!
